Water is critically important for sustainable human life. In many areas of our country especially in the far-flung areas of Thar Desert, KPK, as well as Punjab and Sindh, the local residents are going through scarcity of clean drinking water. This affects badly the human population, agriculture, animals, and other lives in the surroundings. Siraj Trust Pakistan
Siraj Trust has implemented another Clean Drinking Water Project (water Hand Pump) at Village Gotki, Rahim yar khan, sindh. Around 50 Families will get benefit from this Water Project daily.
Food
Pakistan is a country that has experienced political and economic turmoil for decades. These conditions coupled with the impacts of natural disasters have made undernutrition and malnutrition a huge concern in the country. While over the past several years the country has implemented initiatives to improve the food situation, the challenges surrounding food security remain and hunger in Pakistan remain a major issue.
Food is a basic necessity of life and this need can’t be avoided by a living being. The recent economic recession due to Corona Pandemic has made the life of a common man more difficult as the purchasing power of people is declining with every passing day. People living under the poverty line are compelled to bear hunger as they can’t buy food to serve themselves.
Siraj Trust, Pakistan distributes Food Packages (Ration) among such common deprived needy and deserving families of Pakistan to help them sustain their lives round the clock in a year.
Health
The World Health Organization (WHO) has enlisted Pakistan among 57 countries with critical health workforce deficiency while the country is placed at 107th position in terms of quality of healthcare facilities. Unfortunately, Pakistan stands high in the list of top countries with extreme infant mortality.
Being conscious of the situation, siraj Trust financially Support that cases who are below the poverty line ( very poor) specially widows and orphans.
